About me

Drawing was the first thing I remember doing and since then I haven’t stopped drawing and painting the things and subjects that excite me. I’ve worked on numerous books, posters and adverts and in 1991 won the Times Ed senior book award for ‘An Egyptian Pyramid’. I specialise in figurative work, cutaways, historical reconstructions, automotive, aviation, space and maritime subjects, as well as book design, layouts, storyboards, cartoons and T shirt design.

I will tackle any subject, from any period, from the earliest times past to the present, and even the future and fantasy. I love to research my subjects trying to get the most detail, colour and atmosphere into my work. I use many medias including watercolour, oil, acrylic, Ink and wash, and Airbrush. I have produced 3-D card models, acetate, activity and sticker books and am also the Author/Illustrator of over sixty titles in both the ‘How to Draw’ and the ‘It’s Fun to Draw’ series. READ MORE
